When He made the monkey’s face
I wonder if He smiled?
Don’t you think He had some fun
Making creatures of the wild

Did the hopping kangaroo
Put a twinkle in His eye?
Only He could think of all

Ostrich eggs and spider legs can sometimes make me laugh
So do donkey ears and raccoon eyes
Leopard spots, Dalmatian dots and Bessie’s baby calf
Everywhere He’s left us a surprise

When He made the camel’s hump
I wonder if He smiled?

Did the long and tall giraffe
